Dr. Jacquie Hood Martin is a full-time servant leader and a woman “with a yielded Spirit.” Hood Martin is an inspiration to women and leadership executives across the world with her matter-of-fact teaching and leadership style for over twenty-five years. Whether abroad in Ghana, speaking, writing columns, or in her 4-books, Fulfilled! The Art and Joy of Balanced LivingWedded Bliss! A 52-week Devotional to Balanced Living; The Vision Led Church, or her Children’s series: Hannah’s Heart, and Hannah’s Homecoming. Hood Martin’s focus is to bring the best out of each and every person.

As owner of J. Hood & Associates, a boutique life-management firm offering a range of personal enrichment, professional development, community engagement, and strategic planning since 1990, Hood Martin equips and empowers people for daily living. Highly skilled and educated, she coaches women and men from all walks of life, collegiate to corporate, helping them to set their priorities and to make smart, sound decisions. During Megafest 2015, Dr. Jacquie was presented with The Woman of Purpose Award for her work with St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Hood Martin has served as an executive coach and trainer for a few of Black Enterprises top 100 companies. Named three consecutive years as Cambridge Who’s Who Education Professional of the Year, Hood Martin has served in higher education as a Dean and College Vice President of Academic and Student Affairs in the one of the toughest communities in the United States - the City Colleges of Chicago education system.

Dr. Jacquie is an ordained minister working with church leaders to enrich, enable, and empower their congregations through her non-profit. Hood Martin served for a decade as the first female staff pastor at The Church Without Walls, Houston, TX, Dr. Ralph Douglas West, Senior Pastor; she served for two years as pastor at The Bridge International, Chicago, IL, a church she co-founded to meet the needs of inner city youth, young adults, and senior adults; equally she served as a National Christian Leadership Trainer for Lifeway Church Resources for seven years alongside her work with the Baptist General Convention of Texas State Women’s Evangelism Team. Currently she serves as co-chair of the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital Sunday of Hope Advisory Council, which provides awareness and fundraising, and provides leadership for WILLOW (Women in Leadership Leading Other Women™) dedicated to helping women find balance while living their purpose; and to Girl C.E.O. Lead Like A Girl™ committed to developing leadership among girls ages 11-22. Dr. Jacquie’s approach to entrepreneurship, ministry, leadership development, and education instills confidence toward leading a more balanced and fulfilling life for all.
