Lisa is currently leading the Corporate Business Continuity Program for AT&T. This involves working both domestically and internationally to ensure our business units have plans in place to maintain operations in the case of an unplanned event or disaster. This includes planning for potential work stoppages across all of the AT&T footprint. Additionally, Lisa is leading a special task force focused on improving the customer experience for one AT&T’s flagship services of the future.
Prior to her current role, Lisa held a variety of different field and staff roles across various lines of business. Lisa’s career began in 1997 with participation in the Leadership Development Program where she rotated through call center sales and service, financial forecasting, and wholesale account management. Lisa subsequently had assignments in the company’s Regulatory group as well as Consumer Marketing before transitioning to work on the launch of AT&T U-verse. This work led her to a Chief of Staff role supporting the Consumer Sales & Service organization followed by a move to Mobility leading the Mobility Sales & Service channel. Lisa has also had the opportunity to lead the Consumer Self-Service Strategy team, National Solution Centers, and Workforce Operations for Mobility Customer Service. Lisa had a unique opportunity to lead end-to-end Operations for the AT&T Inflight organization and most recently worked on strategic planning efforts for the Technology Operations team. This included the roadmap to transition to an all-IP network, improved customer experience, and a reduced cost structure.
Outside of AT&T, Lisa is a CASA advocate, working on behalf of children that are going through the foster system. She is an active member of the Women of AT&T, HACEMOS, and AT&T Women of Technology and serves as a mentor for the AT&T Women of Finance. Lisa is a recipient of the Hispanic Association on Corporate Responsibility’s (HACR) Young Hispanic Corporate Leaders award and was showcased by HACEMOS in their spotlight on leaders for Hispanic Heritage Month in 2014. She has also served as President of the San Antonio Texas Exes.
Lisa earned her undergraduate degree in Business Honors and Marketing at the University of Texas at Austin and her Master of Business Administration at the University of Dallas. She is currently pursuing a Nanodegree in Computer Programming and resides in Dallas, Texas.
